Megan Clowers, PA-C, OMD, is a compassionate and experienced Physician Assistant offering comprehensive primary and family medical care in Northern Nevada. With a unique background in nutrition, acupuncture, and Oriental Medicine, Megan provides personalized, high-quality healthcare for patients ages 4 through geriatrics. Whether you’re seeking preventive care, routine primary care, management of ongoing health concerns, or an integrative approach to wellness, Megan brings a thoughtful, whole-person perspective to every visit.
Philosophy of Care
As a Nevada native and multigenerational Nevadan, Megan is passionate about caring for the community she calls home. She believes meaningful healthcare starts with understanding the whole person and works closely with her patients to create care plans that support their individual needs and long-term health. Drawing on her training in primary care, nutrition, and Oriental Medicine, Megan offers evidence-based medical care with acupuncture available as a complementary option for patients interested in an integrative approach.
Outside of the clinic, Megan is a runner who also enjoys strength training, cooking and baking, and the many recreational activities the Reno-Tahoe area offers. She also loves to travel, both domestically and internationally. As a native and multigenerational Nevadan, she brings an active, outdoor lifestyle that mirrors the whole-person approach she brings to her patients’ care.

Megan Clowers holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Nevada, Reno. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medical Science degree from Butler University.
