Jennifer Garrett is a long-term resident of Fernley with over a decade of experience in nursing. She began her professional career as a middle school science teacher before discovering her passion for health care, which aligned perfectly with the nursing model. Jennifer has a diverse background in telemetry and home health care and is dually certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Jennifer is committed to helping patients achieve optimal health through education, prevention, and personalized care. She believes in empowering individuals to take an active role in their well-being.

Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, who inspire her dedication to building a strong, healthy community in Fernley. Her family, along with her father, actively participates in local events and proudly supports the Fernley Vaqueros.
A passionate volunteer, Jennifer has served as Regional Commissioner for AYSO in Fernley for over 15 years and continues her involvement as an Area Director for Northern Nevada. She also facilitated the USA Wrestling program as a Club Director for several years.
Jennifer provides care for patients across the lifespan, with expertise in chronic illness prevention and management, mental health, and rural health care needs.
