Dr. Randi Grinsell is a native Nevadan having been born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. However, she has lived most of her adult life in Reno. She first moved to Reno to attend the University of Nevada from 1987-1991 where she earned her Bachelor of Science in chemistry with a minor in biology. She then attended the University of Nevada School of Medicine from 1992-1996. Her medical adventures then took her to the University of Kansas Medical Center where she did her Family Medicine Residency from 1996-1999. After completing her residency she went on to private practice in Olathe, Kansas for 4 years. After moving back to Reno in 2003, she has been practicing family medicine here locally.
Dr. Grinsell has an interest in pediatric and adolescent patients, immunizations, women’s health and preventive care. The thing that interested her in Family Medicine was treating all ages from birth-death. She loves getting to know her patients and their families as well.
Dr. Grinsell is the mother to three boys. Her youngest is a junior in high school. She loves baseball with the San Francisco Giants being her favorite. She loves sports, her boys, baking, and being active.
