Lara Morales was born in the Philippines and grew up in different countries throughout Southeast Asia as a military child. She moved to Reno, Nevada in 2007 to begin her undergraduate studies at the University of Nevada, Reno. Since completing her bachelor’s of nursing degree there, she continued her education and earned her master’s degree in nursing education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas; and her post-master’s degree in family nurse practitioner from Maryville University.
Lara is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, where she is a member of their national and local professional organizations. She sees patients 12 years and older.
Lara is enthusiastic about nursing and healthcare. She implements patient-centered, compassionate care in her practice with emphasis on preventative care and healthy lifestyle. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, cooking and baking, putting together puzzles, and is an avid Rubik’s cuber. She is passionate about fitness, enjoys participating in local races, and is currently learning how to play tennis.
