Julie Dixon

Julie Dixon APRN was born and raised in Salinas, CA and has been practicing primary care in the Reno community since 2014. She initially earned her Registered Nurse license in 2007 and spent the first 7 years of her career as an RN in a variety of care settings including acute care, cardiology, pediatrics, oncology, urgent care, and home health.
She fell in love with the nursing practice and the ability to build relationships with patients, leading her to pursue a Master's in Nursing with the focus of Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with honors from Westminster College in Salt Lake City in 2014, being awarded MSN Outstanding Student of the Year.

She enjoys assisting patients in meeting their personal health goals through personal connection and compassionate care. Her special interests include women's health, pediatrics, and mental health.
